RESTAURANT OWNER FINDS DEDICATED TEEN WALKING 10 SNOWY MILES FOR JOB INTERVIEW — GUESS WHERE HE’S WORKING NOW
Art Bouvier, the owner of a New Orleans-inspired restaurant located in Indianapolis saw a young man trudging through the early morning snow and ice last week. The teen stopped to ask Bouvier — who owns Papa Roux Po Boys and Cajun Food– how much further it might be to his final destination and was told it was six to seven miles.
“He thanked me and continued on,” Bouvier, who also goes by Papa, wrote of the encounter in a now viral Facebook post. “He could have asked me for money for a bus. In fact I quite expected him to. He didn’t. He just started walking.”
To a local news station, Fox 59, Bouvier added that the teen later said he wouldn’t have money for a bus ride until he got a job.

Every American who has said in the past that Americans don't want the jobs that all the foreign students come to Ocean CIty for should read this story at least twice. Had this happened in Ocean City though, this young man would be walking back home because the costs of paying Unemployment Insurance to the Government for hiring him is too expensive for the employer. I hope he grows up to be President.
ReplyDeleteMan, I wish I had found this man hiking down the road! I'd pay him double, too, because he would probably do the work of 3 of the Bozo's I emply!o

With the lack of respect you show, I'm sure you don't pay a whole lot to begin with.
Must be tough times indeed for a worker to put up with you and your attitude.

You need to do one or more of the following: virus scan; malware scan; employ a pop up blocker.
I clicked the link for more and did not experience any ads.

ReplyDelete12:09, I pay $18 an hour to my lowest paid employee. I find them milking the jobs at an alarming rate. And you, I suppose, think they need a raise?

Please respond here.
12:09 Respect works both ways. What you do not understand is the worker is doing s job that will help the company to succeed so the company can reward the worker. Liberals have it backwards, in their twisted socialist logic, the company exists to benefit the worker, the worker has no real responsibilty other than getting a check. When companies do find an employee that can benefit them and maintain a good attitude they usually reward them. I know there are exceptions, especially here on the shore, but that is the other good thing about free enterprise, move on, there are other employers that are extremely happy to have a good worker, they are rare these days.
