Let this be a lesson: Even if you believe it, even if you don’t like customers, keep it professional and keep it to yourself.
During a taping of the CBS hit show “Undercover Boss,” a reality program where top execs and CEOs go undercover to see what it’s like to work for their company, a supervisor at a Duluth, Ga., Boston Market decided to tell his “co-worker” all about his deep-seated hatred of customers.
But here’s the thing: His “co-worker” turned out to be Sara Bittorf, Chief Brand Officer of Boston Market. As you can imagine, the exchange between the supervisor, Ronnie, and Bittorf didn’t end well.

I did watch this show and kudos's to Sara for letting this dude go! I guess he does not realize that customers pay his salary and to complain shows he does not deserve his job. Let someone else work that appreciates having a job and taking care of the customer. After all, the customer is always right (in the business world) They are your bread and butter!
ReplyDeletethey should send under cover nurses & aides in Nursing Homes & Hospitals to weed out the ones who definately do not belong there-----believe me ---there are plenty! Better yet---there should be Video Cameras All over the place & back up enforcement to get them out.
ReplyDeleteHow about undercover boss in some big chain stores around here? Fast food & retail. The results would be shocking. Customer service is all but gone.
ReplyDeleteI get great service at Home Depot! There is NEVER a time I'm in the store that Associates are not cruising the aisles looking for customers and asking if we're finding everything we need. I'm a contractor, so I'm in there sometimes 3x a day. The Other Store is easier to get into and out of traffic wise, but I go there for the service and stock. I always fill my list there, too. "out of stock" never seems to happen.
ReplyDeleteI'll sign Anon, but c'mon, competitor in 21801, you need to buck up!
