The Board of County Commissioners wants all residents of Carroll County to know that Delegate Michael McDermott and Senator E.J. Pipkin have introduced legislation to repeal the Sustainable Growth and Agricultural Preservation Act of 2012 also known as SB 236 or the Septic Bill.
A hearing on the House Bill introduced by Delegate McDermott (HB 106) will be held on Wednesday, February 6th at 1 pm while a hearing on the Senate Bill introduced by Senator Pipkin (SB 391) will be held the following week on Tuesday, February 12th at 1 pm. Anyone with an interest in having SB 236 repealed should attend these hearings and make their position known. More
