NAACP WILL HOST FINANCIAL LITERACY SEMINAR FOR YOUTH

Salisbury, MD… Wicomico County NAACP Branch #7028 will host a Financial Literacy Seminar addressing how to write checks, budget, invest and save. The targeted audience is middle and high school students. President Ashanti said the seminar will be presented in such a way that the students will have hands on experience and fun. There will be an auction, so participants can buy real gifts using “play” money. Lunch will be provided at noon.

Time: 10:00 A.M. – Noon

Students must register by February 18, 2013 with name, address, phone number, age and a signed note from their parent or guardian, given permission to participate in this seminar.
