Resume:
Georgetown, DE- The Delaware State Police Major Crimes Unit has arrested a Millsboro man after it was discovered he was sending text messages of sexual nature to a teen.

Detectives were contacted yesterday February 20th by Sussex Technical High School administrators after it was discovered by an employee that Stanley Daniel Zakrociemski, a teacher, had been sending unlawful sexual text messages to a 17 year old student. The messages began as far back as March of 2012 and continued until the employee uncovered the text messages two days ago. The relationship between Zakrociemski and the 17 year old, who turned 18 in December of 2012, never became physical in nature.

Zakrociemski turned himself in to detectives at Troop 4 yesterday and was arrested on five counts of Sexual Solicitation of a Child Under 18. He was arraigned at JP2 and committed to SCI on $100,000.00 secured bond.

Questions regarding Stanley Daniel Zakrociemski’s status with Sussex Tech High School should be directed to the Sussex Tech District Office.

Because of the sensitivity of this case, and in consideration of the victim, only limited information will be released.

  2. What is it with the excessive amount of sick & perverted teachers in our area who have to resort to having sex with CHILDREN instead of adults!?

  5. Andy, these children as you so called them, for the most part are almost adults. I'm betting the "victim" didn't say no when it began and may have even initiated it. FYI there was no physical sexual contact between the two.

Anon 12:13, you are right. 17 yr old CHILDREN are in fact "ALMOST adults" as you state but still children nonetheless.

As far as CHILDREN initiating "it", that is irrelevant. Are you saying if a 17, 15, or a 13 yr old initiates "it" then the adult's illegal actions are justified???

The adult should be wise enough to know the what the difference is between legal and IL-legal and realize what consequences they face should they choose to act in an illegal manner.

  9. Andy:
He is going away because of a silly high school girl. Granted he should have said no, but I'm pretty sure this is no where near as bad as what other people who have committed sexually based crimes have done. There was no physical contact there were words. There was no violation of that girls body and she certainly could have stopped texting him whenever. Getting her numbered changed would've easily solved the problem if she had wanted it done. But since it looks like she didn't want to stop it she is at fault as well. As much as I'd love to see sexual predators be taken care of, he doesn't deserve this treatment.

  10. sussex tech has had a bunch of these in the last 3 years. who is hiring these people, even the janitor. YOu need you head screwed on if you send you kid to this school.

  11. i am a current student at sussex tech. the actions of 3 people do not in any way reflect our entire school. regardless of the recent incidents at my school, i have received a great education. all 3 of the victims were willingly participating in these relationships with teachers. i encourage parents to send their kids to my school, i love it here. just because a few teenage girls threw themselves at teachers does not make sussex tech a bad school, nor should it keep you from attending this school. that's all i have to say.

  12. I hear there is a part time teacher/mayor in Maryland that texts little boys.

  13. Anon 2:42, you are right. There is an abundance of "silly" school girls as you state and he should have said "NO" - period!

I once worked as a property manager for a real estate agent who used the Internet to solicit sex with a minor. This case is comparable to the real estate agent's, but instead of soliciting sex through the Internet, the teacher did it via texting. Even though "there was no physical contact there were words" (as you state), the teacher had INTENT to make physical contact with her and there would have been "VIOLATION of that girls body" (as you state) had it not been prevented from his texts being intercepted by authorities. I'm not sure if you have a young daughter but if you did, I would hope you would be INFURIATED with this teacher's actions if it were your daughter just as almost EVERY other father who has a daughter would.

The bottom line is that it is NOT the girls' fault and it IS the teacher's fault. He knew that he was committing a felonious crime and he should have made wiser choices because I'm sure he was fully aware of the consequences he would face if caught.

As far as the 4:24 student and their statement that-"all 3 of the victims were willingly participating in these relationships with teachers", it's irrelevant how the "Silly School Girls" acted. What IS relevant is the perverted and illegal crimes our school teachers choose to commit and be IMPRISONED...or choose NOT to commit and remain FREE.

  14. Hey 5:01, not ALL school teachers committ these crimes. In fact, only a small minority do it. Don't give us all a bad name.

That being said, someone asked "who hires these people?" What I want to know is--WHY ARE BAD TEACHERS NOT FIRED? I am a teacher and the only thing I have seen the union do is help bad teachers (poor lessons, DRUNK) keep their jobs.

I would bet money this girl wasn't the first for this jerk and that other teachers knew and probably reported it. But NOTHING happens!

I would bet you money this teacher wasn't the first for this little slut and no one reported it. I see it happen in all the schools and it has been happening for years.

  16. Andy, I haven't any children no but I have been a victim of rape, sexual harrasment and continued sexual abuse. And I know who the girl is. So I actually know for a fact that this is was not all his fault, because she showed no signs of being a victim. She did start it. I agree he was comnmpletely in the wrong, but seriously it's not much different than a 40 year old dating someone half his age and obviously this girl wanted it to become physical.

  17. Sorry to hear about your unfortunate & unpleasant experiences.

I understand your point regarding how in many cases it is the minors that initiate "it", but adults need to constantly keep in mind the boundaries of the laws and be wise enough to avoid these delicate situations that could ruin their lives...ESPECIALLY teachers since their profession requires them to interact with legions of them on a daily basis.

  18. Teachers teach 90% of stuff that we dont need to know. I graduated but i only needed a 4th grade education. Keep kids out of school. Home school them. Teachers teach unessary classes and are crazy for messing with kids. Teachers need a real job
