School bus drivers need to be carrying weapons too.
ReplyDeleteDriver DOA.
ReplyDeleteWow, and drivers DO need to carry, as well as ALL school officials. It's a shame we have to do this since God and religion teachings, basic morals have been banned from our schools, but what the hey, Now we have decent HEADLINES! I'm so happy with this.
ReplyDelete"Alabama State Troopers are on scene and say their assisting with perimeter security. The Sheriff's Department is the lead"
ReplyDeleteEven that news agency needs proof readers. It is they are assisting not their assisting. Seems like a lot of people are having trouble with there, their and they're.
There is a major difference between action and reaction.Having a gun on ones' person and actually having the chance to use it are not the same. Not everyone has the timing or speed necessary to go for their weapon and fire before getting shot.Absolutely a bad idea for a school bus driver to carry a handgun.Any miscalculation on his part could cost more lives than if he had been unarmed.
ReplyDeleteVery scary, very sad situation. Deep sympathies to the family of the driver and please pray for the little boy.
ReplyDelete10:04, I think you are right, but don't try telling that to the folks on here. They have vivid imaginations.
