State Trooper Indicted On Sex Charge

Authorities in Cecil County arrested a state trooper Thursday on a felony sexual solicitation of a minor charge.

According to the Cecil County Sheriff's Office, Joshua Michael Wright, 21, was also indicted on two counts of attempted obstruction of justice. A state police spokesman said Wright was fired Friday.

Investigators said a 16-year-old high school student reported a text message she received on Nov. 27 to school personnel. Authorities said the two knew each other through a common acquaintance.

  3. Like they say. Its not the one's we know of ...it's the one's we do not know about that we need to worry about and here is a prime example of one of trust that all of us would have trusted with our children and no way the useless sex offenders list would have protected us from this slim ball in uniform and the scary part is how many others out there in uniform are creeps..

  5. He would have shot you in the head (BACK of the head, probably) for reaching for your wallet and claimed he was "in fear for his life". But he's hittin' on a 16 year old girl and telling US how to live?? Better start considering whether ot not to throw the whole bushel out now....there are so many "bad apples"....another "hero" gone bad...
