National Cathedral Set For Same Sex Marriages

Same sex marriages will soon be performed in the Washington National Cathedral.

The church will be among the first Episcopal congregations to implement a new rite of marriage for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender members.

The Episcopal bishop of Washington, the Rt. Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde, decided in December to allow an expansion of the Christian marriage sacrament.

  2. Don't worry- there are very few people joining the Episcopal Church. They will have all left or be dead in a few years. Conservative Catholics and Evangelicals, on the other hand, are finding their numbers soaring.
