  3. It would be interesting to know exactly what food items are being purchased with the SNAP entitlement. It's been said on here often that all the food entitlements should be modeled off of the WIC program and food items limited to only certain healthy items. Sounds like a grand plan but it won't happened and here's why. Walmart with their strong lobby and was a major force behind this expansion. If food items were limited they would not be able to keep those foods stocked and would lose money. Some of the food manufacturers lobbied for the expansion also.

  7. Another program that was created for the good and turned into the bad. I am standing in a 7-eleven behind 4 people buying chips, cookies, cupcakes around 30 bucks worth all paid with snap money. It will never stop because the flood gates have opened and the present administration uses these people for votes.

  9. 9:06 According to the US Dept of Health and Human Services' Office of Family Assistance racial demographics of recipients are as follows:

    31.8% White
    31.9% Black
    30% Hispanic

Now put that in perspective. Blacks make up only about 14% of the US population.
