Wal-Mart would be a shoe in to cherry pick select lines.Distribution would change very little, but Sam's Club and Wal Mart would carry the bulk of the product.McDonalds also might consider adding the ex Hostess products to their line, but only if Hostess will relinquish the specific name brand rights. The only way McDonalds would market each product would be with a "Mc" prefacing each cake, like "McTwinkie".The golden arches may miss a golden opportunity by passing up on this one.
