Salisbury University Police are looking for information in the recent theft of a bronze sculpture from campus. The sculpture which is a reproduction of Auguste Rodin's "The Thinker" was stolen from the Student Art Center located on College Avenue this past weekend.
If you have any information or have seen the sculpture please contact the Salisbury University police at 410-543-6222
It looks really heavy,as if it took 3 or 4 to lift maybe?
ReplyDeletemaybe they'll have a statue of obammy someday, they could call it "THE STINKER"
ReplyDeleteCheck the House on Camden Avenue on the right after you go past the fancy civil war houses on the right. Those kids in there terrorize the neighborhood every weekend and steal anything not locked up! Girls and boys I might add!

Why don't you give us an address because there are no such thing as fancy Civil War houses on Camden Avenue.
My guess is its either stupid college kids pulling a prank, or some stupid criminals who thought they could melt it down for copper...they are swiping anything not nailed down these days.
ReplyDeleteAt any rate, I'm tired of seeing beer cans and garbage left in that neighborhood! I'm sorry, but SU students are worthless.
Hi 3:40...we love you too.
ReplyDeleteJoe - the University hasn't been SSU for more than a decade.
bout time they cause problems on campus instead of the city. give Cramer something to do!
ReplyDeleteThat's nothing. Just last week the State Police stopped a 58 wheeled flat-bed truck in the Black Hills of South Dakota carrying a chunk of coal from West Virginia weighing an estimated 25,000 tons. They said they were on their way to add a sculpture of Obama to Mount Rush- More.
ReplyDeletegood one 5:40!!!but you misunderstood, that ain't no 25,000 ton chunk of coal, that was OPRAH!!
ReplyDeleteI doubt it was students, more like some crackhead locals trying to sell it for scrap.
ReplyDeleteGo down CAMDEN AS IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAIN STREET BY THE GAS STATION. There was a builder of the look alike Civil War houses off to the right driving down Camden...once past them this house ( full of cars and college kids) sits back off the road way in the woods...allot of complaints to the Police and Salisbury Police have been reported about these delinquent college punks!
ReplyDelete4:56, if cramer is on that case, you best believe he would get them! he is one of the best cops there!
ReplyDeleteWhat were they thinking
ReplyDelete3:40 PM
ReplyDeleteHow they gonna melt it down to get copper when it is made of bronze?
Check the mayors residence. Its been rumored a lot of naked men hang out there.
