  5. If the city forgot to "filter" out the SPD and WCSO license plates, they're going to be really embarrassed.

  6. 1:14 - close your curtains.
1:22 - that would make too much sense. jaywalkers should be ticketed too... even if they are kids!

  7. 1:22-Unless they have a license plate attached to their butt how would they know where to send the ticket?

  11. Salisbury Cops do not give a crap about jay walkers and people walking against the signal. Happened the other day to me on main street Salisbury right in front of a COP and he did absolutely NOTHING but sit there like the bump on the log just like the majority of Salisbury cops.

What's better than saving the lives of our children? I thought that was the reason for the cameras in the first place, safety (wink, wink). Could it be that the dollar to officer time ratio does not compare to the income for the camera? Just curious, how many pedestrians have be struck in front of county schools in the last twenty years? I understand the workload on the police, but I wonder if the in school officer could review the camera footage (since they can identify the students) and issue tickets.

  15. They can't pay policemen& women, yet they can pay for installation & maintainence of these cameras...plus processing the images, sending notices...& more?

  18. And as for the kids they could care less about traffic. Most of them have no common sense. They definitely need a foot in the tail. They respect nothing.

  19. At 40 dollars a pop .Im pretty sure those cameras are paid for.And this city is collecting a good revenue. I wish i had a month's worth of nickles for every ticket those cameras issue.
