SCHOOL OBAMA'S DAUGHTERS ATTEND HAS 11 ARMED GUARDS

Some interesting news has broken in the wake of the latest push for gun control by President Obama and Senate Democrats: Obama sends his kids to a school where armed guards are used as a matter of fact.

The school, Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC, has 11 security officers and is seeking to hire a new police officer as we speak.

If you dismiss this by saying, "Of course they have armed guards -- they get Secret Service protection," then you've missed the larger point.

The larger point is that this is standard operating procedure for the school, period. And this is the reason people like NBC's David Gregory send their kids to Sidwell, they know their kids will be protected from the carnage that befell kids at a school where armed guards weren't used (and weren't even allowed).

Shame on President Obama for seeking more gun control and for trying to prevent the parents of other school children from doing what he has clearly done for his own. His children sit under the protection guns afford, while the children of regular Americans are sacrificed.

  1. Note. This school had armed guards before the name Obama ever surfaced as a political person. Point is, he chose that school because it was protected. My question is how are these guards funded? Let me guess that they are funded by the taxpayers.

  2. It could also show how uncontrollable those spoiled kids are, Takes that many officers to protect the teachers.....

  3. I would guess that most of the students are white in a city that is 90% black. Therefore, the armed guards.

    1. None of the killers at any of the schools were black. Blacks don't go on rampages they kill their own in gangland style killings.

  4. Hypocritical at best. Protect ALL our kids and while we're at it make the courts enforce our gun laws. Too many liberal activist judges out there slapping criminals on the wrist and setting them free. And then they stand back and blame the guns, not the perps.

  7. I hate Obama, but we live in the Wild West again and all Law abiding persons should be armed and our kids protected.

  8. Liberal's should ban private schools. They give some kids an advantage.

  9. 1:29, You couldn't be more wrong. Sidewell is in a very posh area and has a vast number of foreign students. They suck at sports.

  10. For the slow readers:

    1) It is a very fancy private school with very high tuition.

    2) Not a public school.

    3) Chelsea Clinton went there.

    4) NBC's reporter David Gregory (the one waving around a banned in DC ammo clip on TV has a kid there; his wife was a big wheel at Fannie or Freddie who resigned after their manipulations helped cause the 2008 crash.

    5) Obviously the admin at the school had the pull to get permission for armed security to protect their rich students.

    6) Obama has cut both the voucher program in DC and the school security program that had been in place for quite some time.

    7) Allow volunteer, trained admins, teachers and profs to CCW and schools and colleges as opportunities for nuts will stop.

    8) Schools should not be made into bunkers, except in the very worst areas with continuing issues.

  11. Children of the peasant class don't deserve protection from the derainged. Only the elite are worthy, for they will go on to rule over the unwashed.

  12. Sidwell Friends School is only around $34,000.00 a year tutition. But I think that includes lunch (caviar and toast points?).

What this says is that if you can afford it, your kids can be protected. If you are an average citizen, screw you.
