The time has come. In the very near future I will be filing documents to run for Mayor of the City of Salisbury. I have a Treasurer and a Campaign Manager. The documents are filled out and now we want to reach out to the community for volunteers to help with our campaign.
It's time for real leadership. It's time we all come together and make Salisbury the best place in the world to live and work. I have the business experience to make this happen.
If you have the time and energy please contact me at alberobutzo@wmconnect.com. Together we can do incredible things. I look forward to hearing from you.
Best news I've heard in a very long time. Go get em Joe.
ReplyDeleteI would enjoy working with Joe. I have forwarded my info.
ReplyDeleteThis is the day I have been waiting for Joe!
ReplyDeleteI can help with door to door campaigning.
ReplyDeleteNo one has worked harder for Salisbury then you.
ReplyDeleteWill you be at 3rd Friday? I want a bumper sticker.
ReplyDeleteJim has no chance against you. I can't wait to see the numbers in the end. He'll be crying like a little girl.
ReplyDeleteJoe you have done more good with this blog than any mayor or council people could ever do. This blog has helped raise the bar for citizens to interact with government.
ReplyDeleteIt has to make me wonder if I get a yard sign, will I become a target of Ireton?
I hope there is no mud slinging. I don't like dirty campaigns.
ReplyDeleteanonymous 8:16, are you serious, a target of Ireton? EVERY single taxpayer and employee in Salisbury has been a target of Ireton. Remember, this is the guy who wanted to raise taxes in order to give pay raises for only his staff in the Mayor's Office. NO other employee was to get a pay raise. If it wasn't for Debbie Campbell PROVING the City didn't have to raise taxes and delivered a far more sound budget proposal than the Mayor.
ReplyDeleteLook, I've been doing this for 8 years. I have been their #1 target. They are bullies. Confront a bully head on and they immediately back down.
We Love You Joe!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the Great Job!
We won't back down. When is your first campaign speech? The door of your closet will be opened for ALL to see.
ReplyDeleteI can help with flyers or something.
ReplyDeleteBrighter days are ahead for us I just know it. TY
ReplyDeleteWe need to have a Fireworks Display on Election night.
ReplyDeleteYou've got my help Joe, come on January 8th. Will you be having a gathering at the GOB?
ReplyDeleteanonymous 8:27, Oh, So What! You people have been opening my closet doors for years now, I have nothing to hide. Now, if ANYONE has anything to hide that's been in the closet, well.......
ReplyDeleteThis is the Best Gift I could ever wish for. Have a Great Holiday.
ReplyDeleteYou are a closest Cutie!
ReplyDeleteJoe,
ReplyDeleteI'm not a city resident although the city is on all four sides of my property. Can I still help in any way?
D
YAHOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteanonymous 9:07, Absolutely! I have volunteers all the way in MN wanting to help out.
ReplyDeleteWe'll welcome all the help we can get. There's a lot of doors that need to be knocked on and mailings sent out. My goal is to knock on every single registered voters door in Salisbury.
Set them straight Joseph!
ReplyDeleteNot a problem Michael.
ReplyDeleteWith your drive and caring this elections is yours for the taking.
ReplyDeleteThank you for caring enough about this community to make a difference.
ReplyDeleteThis election will decide if I stay or go. I've been talking with neighbors encouraging them to register to vote. We can't handle Ireton any more.
ReplyDeleteTime to get in the ring Jim. You better bring your A game because you are going to need it. TKO Jim!
ReplyDeleteIf you are elected maybe the Council and Mayor's office will finally get things done.
ReplyDeleteFantastic Mr.Albero !
ReplyDeleteI was one of the people who supported Jim Ireton in the last election. That will not happen again.
ReplyDeleteI've said this before and I'll say it again-Joe would make an excellent mayor. He possessess 2 very important qualities-innovation and vision. The proof is in this blog. When blogs were in their infancy, Joe saw the need for one in Salisbury as an alternative news source, and jumped head on into the blogosphere and created Salisbury News. Even the most devout Joe critic cannot deny that Salisbury News isn't successful.
ReplyDeleteInnovation and Vision!
Joe, your blog has personally helped many people, Brooke, Eric, the Salvation Army bell ringing campaign, those trying to find their missing pets and many more. I can't see how I could go wrong voting for you, and I will help in any way that I can.
ReplyDeleteYou are the right man for the Job!
