I will spend an average of 3 to 4 hours on most days going door to door in the hopes of meeting many of you and answering any questions you might have as well as concerns that need to be addressed.
Please, if your not a registered voter in Salisbury, there's never been a more important election and we need you to register. I have spent the last 8 years bringing news and information the rest of the local Media refused to bring. There's been no cost to you and all we ask is that you please register to vote so together we can move our City forward once and for all. It can't be done without your support.
I'm ready, are you?
"This isn't Joe Albero's election to lose, it's the citizens' election to lose".
"This isn't Joe Albero's election to lose, it's the citizens' election to lose".
We are ready for the right change for Salisbury and We believe that change is you.
ReplyDeleteI am wear my Albero T-Shirt right now. Love It!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis Election is going to more exciting then the Superbowl!
ReplyDeleteJoe Thank You for stepping up to the plate and trying to make a difference for our community.
ReplyDeleteWhy use a wire brush on your shoes?
ReplyDeleteanonymous 8:49, it's a necessity trying to remove all the crap from the past leaders.
ReplyDeleteLOL Joe. That was a good one.
ReplyDeleteYou are a shoe in!
ReplyDeleteThis election, but mostly you Joe have been the topic of most conversation lately. Jim doesn't stand a chance against you.
ReplyDeleteI plan on registering this week.
ReplyDeleteThe Daily Times and Ireton are so afraid of you they did a front page piece begging someone, anyone to file for mayor, district 1 and district 2. Never in all my life have I ever seen anything like that in the newspaper. NEVER!!!
ReplyDeleteJoe you have my vote.
ReplyDeleteJoe I know you heard about it but why won't you put it up? Ireton exposed himself while at Mojo's last week. The public deserves to know. The women are afaid to come forward publicly because they would lose their jobs. But still we deserve to know it.

I heard the same thing. Is it true or just a rumor? Does anyone know?
I am ready for change in Salisbury.
ReplyDeleteA rumor of a sex offense by a teacher is serious business even if the offense did not involve a child. Let's be careful about posts that could cost someone his job and reputation.
ReplyDeleteIreton doesn't care, I seriously doubt he even runs for re-election. He can't handle the rejection.
ReplyDeleteA one term, part-time mayor and he thinks that on his resume will take him to a higher office? NOT!
Ireton thought the situation was funny. It was disgusting.
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell happened? If he did something so terrible we as citizens have the right to know. Can someone please just say what they need to say.
ReplyDeleteJoe, I am a very disgruntled City of Salisbury employee. Let me start by saying I was not present at the time this alleged incident was to of happened however I have total faith in my co-worker who was.
ReplyDeleteApparently Jim walked into the Ladies Room at MoJo's while his subordinates were using it. He was asked to leave which he did not and then proceeded to urinate in front of them.
I find this appalling and vile.
Tomorrow brings a New Year and I may be looking for a new Job and frankly I am okay with that. I am tired of the behaviors I have had to endore.
OMG
ReplyDeleteG.M. Of Salisbury
Thanks for the truth but you may have just buried yourself.
I am so disgusted if what G.M. says is true. He needs to be removed from office now we cannot afford to wait for the Election.
ReplyDeleteIf this is true he should be removed from the school system immediately.
ReplyDeleteThis has gone viral across the city. Jim was very intoxicated and yelled out to everyone there... you know who's getting a piece of A$$ tonight when his boyfriend Ryan walked in the door.
ReplyDeleteThis city elected this fool knowing he was a sexual pervert (Check Ireton's Rehobeth Beach antics) I guess morality does matter.
ReplyDeleteGod's speed to you.
ReplyDeleteI'm from Missouri.Get it?
ReplyDeleteIF this story is true - not saying it isn't, but I have not way of knowing fact from rumor - but IF it's true and there was more than one woman witness to it, they all - ALL - should file a police complaint together.
ReplyDeleteIf Ireton or their supervisors tried to do anything to them to cost them their jobs, they would have a hell of a lawsuit against the city.
G.M., you might want to tell your co-worker. This would actually be job security for them because it wouldn't surprise me if they are targets now.
IF this is not true, then it should die a quick death. But if it is true, it should be dealt with.
So glad I do not live in Salisbury having to deal with things like this, whether fact or fiction.
Regardless of whether it is true or not, instead of "mopping up" a big mess in Salisbury while Ireton was in office, he will be leaving behind a much bigger mess in Salisbury for Joe to clean up.
ReplyDeleteI know where that shoe can go and his first name is JIM...
ReplyDeleteTime for Shields to go too.
ReplyDeleteHer comments in the Daily Crime today showed her real self.
Hope her district coughs up a better candidate.
Anon 9:41am he committed the offense and I don't want him anywhere near my children. The 3 city employees who were violated need to step up to the plate and talk to the authorities. If anyone else witnessed this offense the need to speak up as well. The mayor is a sex offender and he needs to be brought to justice. This can not be ignored.
ReplyDeleteI know John Fredericksen reads this blog and he needs to do an investigation. Not doing so is negligence. Ireton should be placed on administrative leave until the investigation is over. He should not be around children.
ReplyDelete6:20 you are a 1000% correct, if it was my son in his class i would go to principle and update him on his performance but until the woman step forward NOTHING will be done.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the mayor may have a drinking problem. If this latest incident is true it lends credence to what Joe was saying all along and it was the mayor who called him that night and not a spoof call. When under the influence of alcohol, people do all sorts of unpredictable actions.
ReplyDeleteAnoymous 6:49am
ReplyDeleteSo true!
Has Jim called yet? You know this is eating him up inside. I heard it was the truth.
ReplyDeleteJoe, were you serious about leaving Salisbury if you lose the election? I can't imagine Salisbury without you and your willingness to give us the truth about the bull manure that spews out from the 3rd floor of the GOB
ReplyDeleteanonymous 3:29, absolutely. WHY would anyone want to stick around this area when the citizens don't care about the future here.
ReplyDeleteWe have seen 16 years worth of wanna be Mayor's who have done nothing but deliver incredible debt.
You just wait until you new water and sewer bills start coming in. YOU have NOT even started to pay off the debt and the bill will be more than $140,000,000.00. Figure out those payments!
I will address these issues head on. I will do everything I can to avoid additional debt and make Salisbury much more fiscally responsible.
We may WANT bike trails and skate parks but right now we NEED to concentrate on our infrastructure instead. I'm the guy willing to do the job WITHOUT all that feel good attention. Someone has to step up to the plate and deliver to the taxpayers exactly where we really stand.
When is the last time you heard Barrie Tilghmnan or Jim Ireton state publicly that we MUST do something about the infrastructure of the City? You can't answer that because they don't want you to know how bad it is.
IF the citizens want the exact same thing they've experienced for the past 16 years, by all means, vote for Jim Ireton. If that is the path that is chosen, I'm done here. Don't think for a second I couldn't walk away because I can assure you, I can and I will.
My family is with you joe!
ReplyDeleteWhere can I send my donation check? I have one with a couple of zeroes with your name on it!
anonymous 4:08, we will make that announcement next week. Thank You.
ReplyDeleteHopefully you will create some decent professional jobs. While many unambitious people who live "lifeless" lives are content with working in OC in the summer and then sponging from the State of MD during the off months while they lazily collect unemployment checks and food state benefits, many of us who are ambitious and want to live purpose-filled lives are sick & tired of living on welfare.
ReplyDeleteWhat the Lower Eastern Shore desperately needs is decent year-round JOBS other than seasonal "grunt jobs" at bars, restaurants & hotels. NOW is a great time for a CHANGE to make this area more prosperous, productive & contributable.
