Today's Survey Question

Are Conservatives Now Outnumbered?

19 comments:

  1. No. They are just too busy working and being productive compared to the liberals.

  2. ha ha, as crazy as the conservative platform sounds these days, I sure do hope they are outnumbered.

  3. Sure are, by the lazy people!

  4. They always have been.

  5. Of course they are outnumbered. Most people are caught up in either spending money they do not have (credit cards, loans) or are sponging off the government.
I'm so glad I do not have that mentality. Credit card companies are begging me to sign on with 2.9% interest. It's the old saying show you don't need the money and the lenders are falling over backwards for you.

  6. no; they haven't always been outnumbered. "back in the day"; everyone worked and most people were conservative in their belief system. we could Never believe a woman would kill the baby in her own womb or a man would marry a man and a woman would marry a woman. again; this was unheard of in a civilized culture and the founders of this nation certainly didn't conceive this would be part of our culture. the people back then were too independent and took pride in their work to take handouts. unlike today; some people think they're owed a handout for whatever reason.

as far as the election goes; perhaps if the "soros machines" hadn't been rigged and everyone had to prove citizenship in some way, the election would read differently. we probably have as much election fraud going on here as they do in 3rd world countries. so sad, but true.

  7. There are always less people who romanticize "back in the day" than those that want to deal with reality of today and work for the future.

  8. We may be out numbered but we are not out gunned!!!!!

  9. The "reality of the day" is horrible. Gone are the days of morals and in with the politically correct. Everyone would do well to say to hell with PC and start calling it the way it is. Start with children. Don't let your child associate with any child who is from a morally corrupted "family." These people used to be looked down on and it's time to go back to "back in the day."

  11. Each year that passses more and more people get there handouts and now we see the tide has turned. 4 more years under this jerk and there will be even more standing and yelling for those handouts. It is not the same country I grew up in and I fear it has forever changed for the worse.

  12. Many more Americans still consider themselves conservative or moderate than they do liberal. The problem is, many Americans going to the poll aren't that involved in politics or the positions of the candidates. Example of this is the recent election where the Democratic candidate for U.S Senate, who was tossed out of the race in September, too late to get her name off of the ballot, received almost 3 out of every 10 votes for that office.

If you look at the presidential elections since 1996, you'll see a pattern. In 1996, Clinton won when he ran against an older Bob Dole and Ross Perot. In 2008 when the candidates from both parties were about the same age, George W. beat Gore, and in 2004 George W. beat Kerry. In 2008, a much older McCain lost to Obama, and in 2012, a younger Obama beat the GOP's Romney.

It appears the GOP is stigmatized with its appearance that it is the party of old white men. When the Dems run a much younger candidate, the Dems can better highlight that stigmatization and they prevail. When candidates from both parties are or about the same age, the conservative party, the Republican, prevail.

In the future, watch for the GOP to run younger candidates for offices so they are more attractive to dummied down voters.

  13. Good observation and point 1:53. I'm Obama's age but I still have the tendency to think older alot of times does mean wiser. Add Romney's credentials and the fact that I am a perfectionist and I've never settled for 2nd best when I haven't had to Romney got my vote.

  14. Yes, conservatives are outnumbered; they do not expect handouts and work for what they have. They are the givers, not the takers.

  15. The majority of voters voted to lower everyone's standard of living, so that they don't have to work for their income.

That's just not the American way, we got lost somewhere along the line.

In one day I went from hope, to no hope. End of story.

  16. 2:21 I almost spit out my drink laughing. Guess you really haven't looked at the data on entitlement spending. 2 of the largest expenditures go right to a primary portion of the GOP voting block. Throw on top of that a good chunk of the working poor, especially in the south, that get by with assistance from medicaid and other welfare benefits. Dude, you can keep spouting nonsense narratives but that doesn't change the facts.

I guess you really need to look at your data. Of the top 15 states there are only 2 that are from the GOP voting block.

Most of the US Military belong to a group called "OATH KEEPERS" at Oath Keeper.org. They did not vote for Obama and swore at OATH not to try to disarm the United States People. However, as in another Country they may arrest this President for Treason!

A dem look at data? They think things like Obama ended the Iraq War and Planned Parenthood does mammograms; easy things to disprove. Looking at the data you suggested 3:08 wouldn't be something they could easily handle with the level of mental retardation they have shown throughout this election.
