The cost of filling the tank for that Thanksgiving trip is going to vary quite a bit depending on where your are going along the eastern seaboard.
Prices in the D.C. metro region and around the country are about the same as last Thanksgiving, but much higher in areas affected by Superstorm Sandy.
Unleaded regular dropped five cents to $3.41 a gallon in the D.C. metro region in the last week. Last year at this time unleaded regular it was $3.38
