SECRET CABLE WARNED CONSULATE IN BENGHAZI WAS UNPREPARED TO DEFEND AGAINST ‘COORDINATED ATTACK’

Less than a month before heavily armed terrorists overwhelmed the U.S. Mission in Benghazi and killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans, the compound held an “emergency meeting” because to al-Qaeda had training camps set up in Benghazi and the consulate could not withstand a “coordinated attack,” Fox News reports, citing a classified cable.
The Aug. 16 cable marked “SECRET” indicated that the State Department’s senior security officer, or the RSO, did not think the U.S. compound could withstand an sophisticated attack — like the one that occurred on 9/11.
“RSO (Regional Security Officer) expressed concerns with the ability to defend Post in the event of a coordinated attack due to limited manpower, security measures, weapons capabilities, host nation support, and the overall size of the compound,” the cable says.

  1. It gets worse. Ambassador Stevens called for help during the attack and got none.

  2. The web continues to unravel. How much you all wanna bet Obama admin armed al queda linked operatives posing as Freedom Fighters intent on democracy during the 'regime change' and the former SEALS were there to get those weapons back after they realized their mistake. This is going to make Reagan's Iran Contra look like an ice cream social. Obama admin is hoping like hell this doesn't explode until after the election. How much you wanna bet?
I've been right about everything I said about this so far.

  3. It was stinking like a week old dead fish before any questions were asked by MSM. They are still trying to protect the annointed one.

  4. There's questions now as if to Ambassador Stevens was really an ambassador. This supposed consulate was nothing more than a rented home. Quite possibly Stevens was on a mission to arm rebels (really al qaida) in Syria via Turkish ships. We shall see.

  5. A question has always been what was Stevens doing at a consulate at 9pm in the evening. The story is he was having dinner with a Turkish official. Having dinner? Benghazi was lawlessness even before this attack-not exactly a place for a dinner party. The obama admin telling up this was a consulate when in reality it wasn't would explain the lack of security. They didn't want it to appear as anything other than just another home in the city.
