Obama Vs. Romney Rasmussen Poll: November 1 Results

Republican nominee Mitt Romney kept a slim, 2-point national advantage over President Barack Obama in today's Rasmussen daily tracking poll. The 49 to 47 percent lead mirrors Romney's edge from Wednesday.
Obama's approval rating in the poll stood at 49 percent, below the "safe" level of 50 percent that typically precludes an incumbent's re-election.
Rasmussen's polling is based on a three-day rolling average, so results from Monday through Wednesday are included in this sample.
In other tracking poll news, Gallup will begin polling again today, but its final election results won't come until Monday.
