Wednesday on The O’Reilly Factor, two weather experts debated Al Gore’s claims that global warming was to blame for Hurricane Sandy’s wrath. Gore said, “The storms are getting stronger. The stronger storms are getting more frequent. And you know, this is the second time in two years that part of Manhattan has been shut down … But the evidence is now so overwhelming.”
Joe Bastardi, chief meteorologist at WeatherBell Analytics calls Gore’s claims “stunningly ignorant or stunningly deceptive.” According to Bastardi, such storms are nothing new, “In the 1950s […] 10 major hurricanes ran the eastern seaboard. Six hit the Carolinas northward in two years.”

Is this guy's name really Bastardi? lol
ReplyDeleteGlobal warming is a get rich Ponzi scheme. Carbon taxes are just the next hustle. Any person with an ounce of common sense left would realize their is a major problem with the global warming argument when they consistently exclude the sun as the major culprit for climate change. They systematically excluded the sun! Ridiculous
ReplyDeleteHeat melting ice is certainly deceptive
ReplyDeleteThe global warming idiots are trying to attach every weather event to their failed cause.
ReplyDeleteThe FACTS show that there has been no "global warming" for 15 years, and that other planets in this solar system have mimicked temperatures on this world.
The global warming nazis want to pass massive taxes and regulations to cure thier defined problem.
What's the real agenda.
Open your mind and ask the question!
On the heels of "Sandy" Bloomberg just endorsed Nobama as the global warming president...
ReplyDeleteThese people are nuts.
Another reason to vote the fraud out of the White House.
yes, his name really is Joe Bastardi and he is a well respected meteorologist with impressive credentials.
ReplyDeleteThe real agenda is you consume too much and create too much waste for one life form.
ReplyDeleteThe earth is not going anywhere.
We maybe though and it won't be back to the garden.
This earth IS going somewhere. It will be destroyed by fire.
ReplyDeleteAnd we all thought it was Iranian Terrorists! They are taking credit for it now!
ReplyDeleteTo all of the global warming deniers out there-NEWSFLASH-every corporation and functioning government on the globe has preparations for sea level rise in their long term plans.Argue all you want, but I'm sorry to say: you are fools and you are wrong!
ReplyDeleteits true! the woolly mammoths needed huge SUVs to get around and the sabre-toothed cats had large smog-producing factories. thats how we really came out of the last 1000 ice ages!
ReplyDeletein addition, think about the population of areas now versus way back when. new york (fake numbers) had 900,000 people living there in 1920. now they have 2.5 million. so its easy to say its more devastating because soooo many people were affected.
ReplyDeletealso, think about inflation. the storm caused 2.9 billion dollars in damage. thats because there is more stuff there and it costs more due to inflation and ridiculous prices.
have you noticed your house appraises for $500,000 so you get taxed on that amount. yet, if its damaged, to the point of being uninhabitable, they never give you the full amount and depreciation sets in?
