Potomac Edison says about 3,200 homes and businesses in Garrett County are still without power a week after Superstorm Sandy dumped up to 2 1/2 feet of snow in the far western Maryland mountains.
That's 14 percent of all electricity users in the rural county. At the peak of the outages last week, nearly 80 percent of the company's Garrett County customers lacked power.
