A Maryland health advocacy group has released a study on the effects of tax increases on small cigars and smokeless tobacco products.
The Maryland Health Care For All Coalition says the tax increase on "little cigars" is expected to cut the use of these products by those under 18 by 30-percent in the first year.
The tax increases were approved this year. They went into effect in July.

ReplyDeleteIf the states really want to start making money though start taxing gym memberships and sports drinks in health drinks Exedra. the worry about smokers under 18 years old old and taxes when rheyre not even supposed to be smoking yet. for that matter if you worry about under 18 start taxing all these energy drinks.
