Sandy Claims Lives in Maryland, New York

The massive storm known as Sandy proved deadly in the U.S., as the monster storm was blamed for two fatal car crashes in Maryland and West Virginia, and a Queens, N.Y. man died when a tree fell on his house. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office confirmed at least four other storm-related deaths in New York. 
The deaths added to a toll of 73 killed by the massive storm system in the Caribbean last week and over the weekend. The storm had already caused massive flooding and power outages ahead of its Monday evening landfall in southern New Jersey, and officials fully expect the storm to be a killer.
