Animal activists want a California roadside memorial sign to honor fish killed during a container truck crash.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals volunteer Dina Kourda told Irvine’s street maintenance chief the sign would remind drivers that fish value their lives and feel pain.
About 1,600 pounds of saltwater bass died on Oct. 11 when the truck hauling them to market got into a three-way crash.
Really?! Sign of the last days when people care more about the fish than the people
ReplyDeletelol where did you find that sign?

Aren't you late for school? Run along now.
I guess i should have one hanging from my fishing rod.
ReplyDeletePETA makes themselves look stupid all the time. They kill more animals than any other rescue organization in the country. I do animal rescue and wouldnt even think about being a PETA member. Most other animal advocates and rescuers think the same thing. They make a mockery of people trying hard to help the animals. I used to work for Ingrid Newkirk the crazy cofounder and all she wanted to do 30 years ago was kill everything now she wants a sign for fish. They take in big bucks in donations and waste so much on stupid things instead of really helping.
ReplyDeleteI think it's kinda funny.
ReplyDeleteDoes that mean that I need a memorial for the fish that have died in my kitchen, too?
