No one was hurt and the plane heading to Tampa with the team on board was diverted to Jacksonville last night.
The plane, a Delta charter later checked out and was allowed to fly, leaving Jacksonville at 10:15 p.m.
The decision to divert came when smoke filled a forward galley.
