Our Apologies

One of the features we have enjoyed putting out to the public is Police Reports.

Recently we have been having issues with such Press Releases from the Salisbury Police Department. This actually all started around the time of the alleged phone spoof.

I have confronted Chief Barbara Duncan about this problem as well as other officials at the SPD, NOTHING has been done to resolve the problem. Its as if they purposely do NOT want anyone to have access to their information, which is actually OUR information.

We can see the information on their Site but we cannot copy and paste the entire Press Release, INTERESTING!

Nevertheless, we apologize for any inconvenience on this matter but know we have made numerous attempts to resolve it but the Police Chief refuses to make the proper changes on their Site to keep you informed.

Politics at its best.

  8. Why would you expect any LEO's to cooperate with a cop hate blog? You hate law enforcement, you get treated like it.

  10. Purely for self interest each of the local police agencies should be more than happy to send you information about their activities.

They should also do it because it's in the public interest to enable citizens to be more alert about past or future activities of those apprehended. Informed citizens can be more helpful to the cops.

Short-sighted move by person holding the info back.

  11. If Ireton orders a department head to stay away from a media outlet or to do something to prevent getting the info, then the department head must do it.

You know where the buck is supposed to stop, people, so stop blaming the underlings.

  12. The police report is listed on the daily times online but you have to be a subscriber to view it! I can't think of one person who would pay for that.
