Maryland health officials and the Centers for Disease Control now say there have been 15 cases of meningitis in the state believed to be linked to steroid injections for back pain.
The revised numbers for Maryland and 11 other states was posted on the CDC website on Saturday afternoon.
As someone who up until 3 years ago had this type of injection on a monthly basis I sure am glad I am not having this concern!
ReplyDeleteI would like to know what 7 clinics in Maryland received the tainted shot. I have a relative who receives these shots and is concerned. The reports are that the disease has a long incubation period, so why hasn't the CDC release this to patients, so they know whether they are affected or not.
ReplyDeletei Know Salisbury pain center did not have any of stuff but Berlin did.
ReplyDeleteThis side of the bridge I know of Berlin Pain Management.
ReplyDeleteI was told about a time window having something to do with manufacturing. I recieved shots from an office who received tainted materials. I have suffered non typical symptoms.. but have been told locally that I don't fit that window. That is what they are saying locally. What do you think.
