Maryland Left Out Of The Campaign Fray

  1. Its the same story in Delaware too. I think its time, in this day and age of instant communications, to get rid of the electoral college and have a national popular election where the one who wins is the one who gets the most votes. Also, primaries should be held all on one day nationally. Those of us in Delaware have no say because the nominees are already decided before we get to vote.

  3. Also may be the reason for the Daily Times article today by Caitlin Johnson. When Democrats out number Republicans two to one, the Democrats find it completly unnecessary to perpatrate fraud.

  5. 12:53, If we got rid of the electorial college than the most populated areas such as the east cost corridor (boston, NY NY, Philly, Balto, and DC and suburbs) and the LA, CA would end up deciding the elections for everyone. The Founding Fathers foresaw this as a possibility and took this measure to prevent this. A few presidents have been declared winners after not receiving the popular vote, the most recent GW Bush in 2000.
