While all of the Main Stream media on the western shore are flooding into Ocean City and airing hurricane Sandy news LIVE, WBOC is showing Family Feud. WMDT is out of the loop as well.
They are less than half assed. WBOC and WMDT are second or third rate. That's why all of their quality news people go to other locations. Their management is weak and their technical people leave much to be desired. I mean....they can't go out in the rain...right? LOSERS!!
Why go out in it when they can just get a feed from a Baltimore station. It always cracks me up how their partners in Baltimore and Washington would rather come all this way and take images before they'll use WBOC or WMDT.
Your site is the most informative on the Eastern Shore in regards to Hurricane Sandy. I, and MANY others in the area, find the lack of coverage that WBOC & WMDT is providing to its residents during this historic & catastrophic crisis appalling & surreal. I've been informing everyone to go to your site for the latest updates. Keep up the good work Joe.
Not reporting announcements from the governor of MD. What the hell is their problem? For god sakes do your job!!!!! Maryland and Virginia are part of Delmarva!!!! You know the keyword DELMARVA!!!!! MD, DE AND VA!!!!
The local media are probably getting their info from the Weather Channel, who has been pounding the airwaves for 4 days about the direct hit and devastation coming to New Jersey and New York. Somehow this storm was going to hit the Outer Banks, NC and then pop on over to the NJ coast, totally skipping Delmarva. Amazing! Not to mention impossible! Local media need to do their jobs and keep us informed. Thanks Joe for doing that for us.

ReplyDeleteIt's beyond amazing that both local stations aren't on the air live.

ReplyDeleteEvidently they have a press conference in OC and local stations didn't even air it live. Not sure if other nonlocal stations did.
