Hundreds Line Up For $1.84 Gas At Mt. Morris Township Gas Station

MOUNT MORRIS TOWNSHIP, MI -- The Mount Morris Township Beacon & Bridge gas station had traffic backed up nearly a half mile to I-475 today as it rolled back prices to $1.84 per gallon for the first 150 motorists.

The gas station announced early today that it would host a gas rollback event for the Americans for Prosperity-Michigan’s “Obama’s Failing Agenda” bus tour. The group said that the $1.84 per gallon price reflects the cost of gas in 2008, before President Barack Obama took office.

  2. It would be nice if they would come down to DELMARVA for a day, just to remind some folks about the price of gas when Obama took office in 2008.

  3. Does anyone actually believe that putting Mitt in office will bring prices back down to 2008 levels? While we are at it, let's make a loaf of bread a dime and a can of coke a nickle. Those days are long gone no matter which jackass, and they both are, ends up in the White House. I think we should call this election season the 'Dumbing Down of America"

  4. Dear 9:22, lets be clear, nobody expects gas prices going down to $1.84/gal. That was 4 years ago when Obama took office and promised Hope & Change. And he failed, miserably. So, if you at your job, made promises and keep failing for 4 years, would you still have a same job? No, you would be fired. So, I say, NEXT PLEASE. NO-BAMA 2012

  5. I would if i was a teacher. lol
I wasn't being literal though. I'm simply making a point that in this election both sides are using unrealistic examples to say why they should be the ones in there. I am using a silver dollar to vote. I think that they are both idiots. There is no lesser of 2 evils choice this time around. I honestly believe they will are equally bad for our country.
