Don't Miss The Football Specials All Day And Night At Aqua On The Plaza
First of all, Phil, Joey and Jeremy want to thank everyone who showed up on 3rd Friday. It was an unbelievable night with its ups and downs. Up, because so many people showed up. Down, because there was a 45 minute wait just to get a table. These are growing pains they are working very hard to fix but knowing these guys, they want nothing but the best for their customers and they'll do whatever it takes to make things right.
That being said, they'll open their doors at noon and today's specials are, $2.50 domestic bottles, $2.00 Miller drafts, $4.00 bombs on the bar side. They'll also feature burgers, Philly cheese steaks, wings, buffalo chicken dip, all for $7.50 each.
Enjoy all of the Sunday Football Games on their plasma TV's and great food. I have enjoyed each one of these items above and believe me when I tell you, as usual, you get more for your money at Aqua then any other place in town. Enjoy the games.
Food is good, but because of the tile floor and high ceilings.. there is a lot of noise in the place.. Needs some rugs, wall covering, curtains etc.. to absorb noise
ReplyDeleteWe gave them a try for dinner but will not be going back, maybe one of their sandwiches would be ok, but dinner we did not like. Not our kind of spaghetti I guess and did not like the garlic bread at all. Maybe they will improve over time, but certainly nothing to brag about right now. Can't argue about amount of food you get cause you do get alot.
ReplyDeleteIve gone to aqua on three different occasions since they've been opened. I have only eaten there twice but the food was excellent and the price was better. I would recommend anybody to try this new restaurant out and help out a local business
ReplyDeleteI've eaten there three times and the food has been excellent each time. Agree about the noise level in the dining area however; they need to do something about that.
ReplyDeleteThe need to find their identity. There were two different sets of owners. On set own the bar, the other the restaurant. The bar owners want their portion of the business to be a bustling bar replete with college and pro games and lots of happy, drinking customers. The restaurant side, serving high end food, wants, I think, to cater to a different demographic. The day we were there the television in the bar area were loud and flooded the dining area where we were seated. NCAA football was straining to out do Pavarotti who was on the restaurant's sound system.
ReplyDeleteUnless they get this identity issue cleared up, this place will be just the most of many restaurants that have tried to make a go of this location and couldn't do it. If I hate a vote, I'd vote to let the plethora of bars that surround the area have the younger beer guzzling, shot drinking crowd, and make this place more of a an inviting lounge where you can happen to take in a football game while enjoying a few beers or cocktails. Plus, the bar at this place isn't that large to play itself as a sports' bar. If this doesn't happen, I see the the two interests butting heads and parting ways.
