Maryland health officials say they have identified a third patient in the state who developed meningitis after receiving a steroid injection in September.
The Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene announced Saturday that it had confirmed the third case.
But the agency says no specific information will be released about the patient. Two other Maryland cases had been previously confirmed. One patient has died.

ReplyDeleteWhile your at it don't forget your flu shot.
Oh great! Who knows what's in that vial of medicine they're shooting in your arm?
ReplyDeleteI refuse to get a flu shot. I have learned to avoid sick people and wash my hands constantly along with using hand sanitizer throughout the day. I actually have had friends get the flu shot and they are the ones that get the flu (they say it's a milder case)
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this. Several people I know get these shots---Thank God , it doesn't look like the Salisbury Pain Ctr. got their steroids from the Co. that was closed. Berlin, however must have.
ReplyDeleteI hope this will be the end of what's been happening. Poor people, go in to get relief & wind up dead!
