It’s time to have an adult conversation about the very real issues facing America’s future.
What’s needed in our country today is not complicated or profound. It doesn't take a special news report to tell us what America needs. No matter what Barack Obama’s cronies or the liberal media says, America needs jobs – a lot of jobs.
I am running for president because I have a solution to create more jobs and better take-home pay for the middle class. With your support, we can make that happen.
The result of President Obama’s government-centric approach over the last three and a half years was the worst economic recovery since the Great Depression: 23 million people are struggling for work; nearly 1 in 6 Americans in poverty; 15 million more Americans on food stamps; $4,000 average decline in household incomes; $16 trillion national debt.
The administration promised us that its policies would bring unemployment down to 5.4% by now -- but they have not.
Unemployment is still above 8% and has been for 43 straight months. And the difference between the 5.4% they promised and the 8% they delivered is 9 million more Americans not working -- 9 million.
Under President Obama, we have a stagnant economy that fosters government dependency. My policies will create a growing economy that fosters upward mobility.
My plan for a Stronger Middle Class will deliver a real recovery for our economy by taking advantage of our energy resources, fixing our schools, opening more trade, cutting the deficit, and championing small business.
My plan is to help the middle class. We’re going to take advantage of our energy resources -- above and below the ground -- to get North America energy independent by 2020. Then, we're going to make sure that the American workers of today and tomorrow have the skills to succeed in America through better schools and better job training programs.
We’re going to make trade work for America. That means cracking down on cheaters like China and opening up new markets. Further, we have to cap federal spending, and cut the deficit. Finally, we have to champion small business by having tax policies, regulations, and healthcare policies that help small business.

The results of my sound fiscal and economic policies: 12 million new jobs in 4 years, 4% annual GDP growth, higher wages, and increased savings for middle-class families.
Show your support for our plan and help Paul Ryan and me, and the Republican team, deliver a real recovery for middle-class families across America -- please donate $50, $100, or $250 today!
A weak economy and unprecedented debt may be the best President Obama can do -- but it is not the best America can do. We literally cannot afford four more years of Barack Obama’s failed policies. I will deliver recovery -- not dependency.
Thanks,
Mitt Romney
Bravo, couldn't have put it in any better terms. This country is in SHAMBLES, whay does Obama DESERVE another shot? The answer is he DOES NOT. We are unable to afford to give him another term if you want to make any sort of money what so ever...
ReplyDeleteYes but what are the specifics? Yesterday Romney mentioned that he would lower taxes but also end some deductions. What deductions? Mortgage interest credit? Child credit? I work hard and do want lower taxes but I really want to know up front what to expect. Everything in this post is good but there is not one thing that says HOW he will accomplish these things.
ReplyDeleteI wish we had a better candidate.
ReplyDeleteIt can not possibly be any worse then Obama's plan for the country IE- Make sure everyone is dependent on the government then run their lives...
ReplyDelete3:09 I also wish we had a better candidate ,but the scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz would be a more competent President than Obama is.
ReplyDeleteThis guy is a putz (look it up). Why would anyone vote for him? He opens his mouth and says nothing.
ReplyDeleteRomney is not a "putz." Romney is brilliant. There are no if's and's or but's about it. People become self made multi millionairs because they are results driven. They also have a talent for surrounding themselves with competent advisors.
ReplyDeleteThe "putz" is obama who thinks the answers are to print more money. Now that's a really well thought out solution-LOL. That's really worked out well hasn't it 3:36-LOL. The economy's booming and people have extra money to spend don't they 3:26?
Some of the specifics are spelled out in this letter. Taking advantage of our own energy sources will create jobs, cracking down on China and unfair trade markets. He addresses the tax situation by the facts which are it is not a revenue problem we have but a spending problem.

ReplyDeleteAsk the same question of Obama and you get no answer.
His policies have failed.
Communism does not work. Proven time and again on the world stage.
Ron Paul had methods of how and with reason. The Repubocrats sold him down the river. Now we are left with Robamney. Ryan will be of help, though.
ReplyDeleteRomney understands how to make money work while Obama knows how to spend it. On a side note Michelle is pretty good at spending our tax dollars also.
ReplyDeleteRomney - success. Obama - failure. Put people to work or increase dependency. Vote for a return to hard work and family values.
