Surveillance Video Shows Md. Officer Striking Man

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) - Surveillance video from a store in Maryland appears to show a Prince George's County police officer striking a man with a gun which then fires.

The recording is from the store in Brentwood. The video appears to show Cpl. Donald Taylor approaching 19-year-old Ryan Dorm from behind and striking Dorm with his gun. A flash on impact appears to be the gun firing. Police have said that Taylor lied about what happened during the Feb. 3 incident, claiming Dorm reached for his weapon.

  1. It's always been that way with the PG county police. Thugs in uniform. Look what they have to draw from for applicants, the most crime ridden county in te state. They also take other Leo rejects from other agencies. It was that way in the 80's and it has never changed. What other agency in Maryland has a federal oversight committee.

  2. The guy should be in prison. As well as this partner.

They had no Idea the Camera existed when they wrote their report.
The kid spent 4 months in prison for being nearly killed by a psycho-zealot

  3. He used to be a Wicomico County Deputy. He should have never been hired by anyone that protects the public. Doris liked his looks.

  7. People get arrested and jailed EVERY DAY for "lying to the police". They incur legal fees, a criminal record, fines, and sometimes, a little jail time to solidify the punishment for "lying to the police". Well, this cop also lied to the police. Whats he charged with? And if he is THIS quick to hit someone with HIS GUN (!!), how many other citizens have been beaten with impunity? Like the 22 year veteran cop who was caught on video body slamming a handcuff woman -- handcuffed! -- to the pavement. he was a really nice cop for 22 years and made ONE mistake, right? WRONG. Its the modus operandi for police all over this country --- WE have the guns, the badge, and the absolute authority to KILL YOU, and you WILL obey us, the Public Masters. And teaching you a lesson is something that we (the police) regard as a job benefit.

Slow down and calm yourself. We all agree with you. Most cops are arrogant, small minded, pathetic leeches on society. They are criminals hidden in plain sight.
