Secret Romney Tape Means We Can Finally Stop Talking About Obama's Failed Foreign & Domestic Policy!

Let's not mince words: President Barack Obama is one lucky bastard.

Last week, he got a near-total pass from the press regarding foreign policy due to what was at worst a case of bad timing by GOP challenger Mitt Romney. This week (and possibly beyond), Obama is being helped out big time by the release of a tape in which Romney inveighs against people who receive payouts from the government.

Maybe Romney could have waited another few hours after the killing of our ambassador to Libya but does anyone still think that Obama has any idea of what he's doing with regard to foreign policy?

Yet after disastrous attacks on U.S. people and places in Egypt and Libya - and thoroughly unconvincing claims by the administration that such deadly violence "is not an expression of hostility in the broader sense toward the United States or U.S. policy" - it was Mitt Romney who got tagged as having "the worst week in Washington." According to the media, Romney had finally crossed a line no decent human being ever dare cross by criticizing a sitting president while protesters demonstrated outside something like 20 U.S. embassies around the globe.

As Obama spokesperson Jen Psaki put it, Romney's willingness to criticize the president "does raise a question of whether his team is ready for prime time when it comes to these issues.”

  1. Wake Up and Smell the Jihad that Obama Built!
How's that "Arab Sping" working out for you now Obama, the self described expert in Muslim culture because he lived there when he was 6 and because he backpacked through Pakistan.
Yep how's it working out now?
Protests are still going on a week later.
Finally Obama can claim something-A Crapstorm of World Wide Unrest.
He's the perfect example of~~ If you can't dazzle them with brilliance than baffle them with BS. Obama owns all of this.
Such a great stateman he is-LOL. He's made millions of people miserable in some parts of the world.

  2. A bit off topic-This unrest has gotten the attention of the pollsters.
A bit of background. Geo Bush vs.Gore-Bush got just over the majority of the Arab American vote.
Geo Bush vs Kerry and Kerry got quite a bit of the Arab American vote reason given was Iraq.
Obama vs. McCain and Obama got just over the majority of the Arab American vote.
Some just released polls of Arab American voters is showing Romney with an unprecedented 70% of the Arab American vote at this point in time. This is significant because 2 swing states (FL and Michigan)have a large block of Arab American voters who could swing both states to the Red.

  3. Is there something wrong with me and my husband? We heard what Romney said and don't understand why he needs to reply to his tape talking frankly with his friends. We agree completely with everything he said in that tape and are proud he feels that way. People need to get to work. It is that time of year when there is money to be made by working in people yards, fixing broken things and maybe it is not what you did before, but it will put food on the table with MONEY YOU EARNED. Just get on with it so we can right America, because it sure is WRONG NOW.

  4. I'm confused. You say "obama's failed foreign policy" because the Arab spring didn't suddenly bloom thriving democracies over night (1 year) after decades of despotism. Yet you are the same crowd that pushed for patience and being steadfast, along with shouts of unpatriotic, when folks complained about much more costly attempts at starting democracy in Iraq and Afghanistan. Something smells of hypocrisy here.

  5. Yep, I am saying empathically that Obama's foreign policy is a massive failure unlike anything we have ever seen before. You do not overthrow regimes that were our allies. Regimes that provided us with intelligence in favor of regimes that openly support terrorism.

  6. Wait, wait, so Gaddhafi wasn't a terrorist? Could have swore he helped support the original 9/11. Oh no, your saying we should have blocked a home grown movement to get rid of dictators and "spread democracy" because freedom espoused in the constitution is only good when we approve of it.

  7. Gaddhafi "helped support the original 9/11?"

    Democracy? More like the Islamists
saw a live one in the ignoramus Obama and hid behind the "democracy" word and Obama fell into it hook line and sinker.

  9. 2:39 No link found between Colonel Gaddafi and 9/11.
But....... The Libyan Islamic Fighting Group which played a key active role in deposing Gaddafi's regime have ties to al-Qaeda.
So.........basically what Obama supported was overthrowing a regime with no known link to 9/11 with one who had a direct link.
Sure makes you wonder where Obama's head is at.

  10. 619 I was talking of Pan Am. As in the precursor to terror attacks using airlines. Sorry you missed that. And I wish you clowns would wrap your head around the FACT that in these countries, we are not dealing with one unified group before you start spouting your semi-informed opinions. Funny thing is, you complain about intervention in Libya and Egypt. Yet I bet you hoorahed over intervention in Iraq, which turned it into one giant terrorist playground, and I bet you are the same crowd lambasting Obama for not getting more involved in Syria (the current Romney/McCain strategy).

  11. 6:49, Gaddafi never admitted he was directly responsible for the Lockerbie bombing though he did admit Libyans were involved and paid compensation to the families. The group responsible (name escapes me Islamic Revolution something or other)is Iranian in origin and had been banned in Libya while Gaddafi was in power.
No one had any direct info or intelligence to contradict this until..... the uprising in 2011 in which the "democracy seeking freedom fighters" made claims that Gaddafi was directly responsible in giving the order.
In the world of intelligence this is suspect and most likely is not true and their motivation for claiming he gave the order was an attempt to gain US support.
It is interesting to note that this extremist group once banned is now being revived in Libya.

  12. We should have never been in the Middle East to begin with, with the exception of going to Afghanastan to hunt down Osama bin Laden!
THAT is why we're where we are now!
The middle east doesn't want DEMOCRACY! They don't want to be like us!
