Scaramucci: Mitt Romney Will Still Win

The author of this guest post is one of 8 national chairs of Mitt Romney's finance committee, and he is the founder of Skybridge Capital.

Since Mother Jones published a video of Presidential candidate Mitt Romney at a fundraiser discussing why 47% of the country will not vote for him, pundits from both sides of the aisles have declared his campaign dead in the water.

The facts of this election, however, tell a very different story...

The campaign is far from over. Both sides know that the Governor is actually gaining traction in the important states and the national polls. Moreover, he has the best people working on his campaign. Despite the attacks and the coroners in the main stream media attempting to declare it over, it is fair from over. In fact Governor Romney, and Rep Ryan will be taking the oaths of the respective offices on Jan 20th.

  2. Four more years of Obama will completely destroy this country and the democratic party. You can't believe anything the liberal media prints. Romney will win because he is the best candidate and the one who can get this country back to greatness.

  3. We would truly be blessed if Mitt Romney were to win the election.
It is not often that we have the chance to vote for such an overachieving, succcessful, get it done type of person.
Anymore the usual politician is someone who has failed at everything else they have attempted to do.
We are lucky Romney's even stepping up to the plate because most successful businesspeople do not have the time nor want the hassle, loss of privacy, etc that comes with politcial office.
Romney wants everyone to do well because he is still a businessman at heart and when the country does well he does well financially in his other endevors.
The country under Romney would most like prosper like most of us havent' seen in our lifetimes.

  4. So I guess since an Obama presidency will inevitably destroy this great country (so you say), you will be moving when he is re-elected?

How about this: when Obama wins (and he will), and the counrty does not fall apart in the next 4 years (it won't) you come back to this website and say "whoops, I was wrong!"

You need to chill out and trust that the Constitution is strong enought to last even when you don't like the guy in office. Liberals survived Bush, you will survive Obama. It isn't that grim.

  6. The liberals were very lucky to have President Bush and they should have heeded his warning and we would NEVER be in this financial meltdown/crisis we are in. The democrats ruined the economy due to Barney Frank and the democratically controlled congress under Bush's second term.
I will vote for a self made brilliant billionair over someone who I can't really say he's done anything in his life or what he has done can be truthfully said to have not been a success. I have very high standards have always had the attitude that I do not settle for second best on anything and to me Obama is second best.

  8. One thing about successful business people like Romney also is that they are successful in part because they have a 6th sense about them and know how to put the proper people in the proper postions. It seems like Obama has only put amateurs in cabinet posts.

  9. he merely accepts the fact that there's nothing he can do to get 47% to vote for him. and yes, that many idiots will vote for the incumbent.
