Saturday, Sept. 15
Drive 4 Your School
Parkside High School

Parkside High School’s Auto Technology program and the Junior class will present a special event, Drive 4 Your School, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 at the school. Parkside is partnering with Ford Motor Company and Sherwood Ford to raise funds through Drive 4 Your School. Parents and families will have the opportunity to test drive a new 2013 Ford vehicle and learn about the many new products and features that are offered by Ford in the upcoming year. For every test drive that day from Parkside, Auto Technology will receive $20. As an added incentive, Sherwood will be offering to anyone who takes a test drive a gift bag loaded with goodies, including a discount coupon for a new car or truck purchase, a discount coupon for a used car purchase and more. Participants will be entered in a drawing for a new 2013 Ford Escape to be given away by Ford Motor Company, and will have a chance to win a condo in Ocean City to be given away by Sherwood Ford. Sherwood will also be providing coupons for service and parts discounts at their locations here in Salisbury. The Junior class will hold a car wash so while you are driving your dream car you can have your old one cleaned.

This is one test (drive) you don’t want to miss! The Powellville Fire Department will be here preparing and selling their famous oyster fritter sandwiches, and hamburgers and hotdogs. Local car clubs have been invited to display their vehicles for your enjoyment as well. The Salisbury Fire Department will attend to talk fire safety with children and parents and demonstrate a piece of fire equipment. 410-677-5144
