Obama In 1998: "I Actually Believe In Redistribution"

13 comments:

  1. These video's and quotations don't mean a damn thing. obama could put it in writing --- "I'm determined to change the social, political, and economic face of the USA. I'm going to take everything I can from those who work and give it to those who have never worked, never wanted anything other than what someone GIVES them, and I'm going to, at the same time, TELL you I'm doing SOMETHING ELSE." His supporters would STILL vote for him. When the unemployment rate was 4.5%, Bush was castigated. Now, its been 8%+ for FOUR YEARS (!) and he's a hero?? If you have a spare 5 dollars, better use it on ammunition. We're gonna need it....

  2. And do you know why it doesn't mean a damm thing lmclain? Because it is above the understanding of the 47% of the vote Obama is going to get. You are correct. All they understand is free. They have been trained and programmed to not even attempt to educate themselves nor to better their own lives.

  4. So, you people think that the rich should get more money because they will create more jobs.

Why do you think like this? What on EARTH makes you think this will actually happen?

The rich and powerful are currently hoarding more and more cash while the poor and getting poorer and poorer because there are no job opportunities.

So you actually think that if we gave them MORE money, they would just go out and create jobs? Absolutely not, they do not care about you, they care about themselves. They will continue to hoard and hoard more cash.

Trickle down economics is the most failed policy that I have ever heard of. It will never work.

You have to fairly distribute the tax brackets.

Someone making 500,000$ a year with a tax rate of 30% is still $350k. Someone making 50,000 a year with a tax rate of 30% is making just 35k/year.

That makes sense to you? You honestly look at that and think, "yeah that looks like a great idea."

People who are rich should be taxed more. Until they can prove that they do in fact create jobs, I will stand by this.

  5. When Palin was going on and on about Socialism I just wanted to pull her out of the TV and shake her into reality. Those 47% of people who are going to vote for Obama regardless have never heard the word Socialims much less know what it means. These are the people on the bottom level of the intelligence quotient and totally void of any common sense.

So you want to put a penalty on people that earn more because they are more successful. Do they use more of the things our taxes pay for?
If what you say is true and they are "hoarding" the money they will want to make more money. If they want to make more money they have to enlarge what ever business is they have. They are already paying more in taxes if you think about it. They buy more things.....more sales tax. They have large homes and businesses. They pay taxes for those as well. What you are saying is only certain people should pay their fair share. Let's reward bad behavior and instead put a penalty on the rich.
How many people make low wages yet they get back a huge tax refund each year. Instead of saving that for something they need they go blow it buying stupid things. Again they are being rewarded for not being successful.

  7. 1:39. I like your idea. I will go all out for your plan but I ask one thing --- for the generations ----GENERATIONS!! - of families who have lived in public housing for the last 40 years, NEVER had a job, continue to have everything in their life GIVEN to them, from cradle to grave, and get more in income tax REFUNDS than I EVER could dream of, well, what is THEIR "fair share"?? What is it? You can be or have ANYTHING you want in this country, but you can't punish those who work 60-80hrs a week (or more), risk their life savings, and sacrifice time with their family in order ot BE succesful in order to placate those who do nothing but wait for the third of the month for another handout. And vote for more and more handouts. The MATH doesn't work. Again, I ask you --- WHAT IS THEIR "FAIR SHARE"?! Get real.

  8. 1:39 had to be educated in the government school system, has never had a good paying job for any length of time, loves the unions, doesn't understand the concept of "give a man a fish, he will eat for the day; teach a man to fish, he'll eat for life", isn't a reader or seeker of the truth, only listens to the liberal lap dog media, isn't a "reasoning" person, has little or no common sense and doesn't understand when the government runs out of MY/YOUR money to give away they will finally stop playing fast and lose.

you're comment is, without a doubt, a marxist point of view and lines right up with our current marxist president and administration. let's face it, dumb is the the best term i can use describing your comment.

good luck on your hope and change marxist views.

Well, for starters, Im more successful than any of your children(hopefully you dont have any, so they arent forced to live by your corrupt mind-set). I bought my first house at 19, Ive owned and paid off 4 different cars worth more than 25k by the time I was 21.

I have a 401k started as well as a savings account with actual money in it.

Dumb? At no point in your incoherent rant, did I find anything of substance. Your grammar and punctuation are seriously lacking. Unions? Of course I like unions, is it not a coincidence that the only people in this country with any type of quality pay... are backed by unions? That is unless you own your own small business, in which case, congratulations. Unfortunately it is not possible for everyone to be successful with their own business. There just isnt enough money in the world.

When people say things like "why are you penalizing them for being successful?" Ok, cool, theyre successful. But like Ive already said, there is no way that everyone could be successful in this country. Even if everyone put forth full effort, 100% of the time, it is still impossible.

The economic inequality in this country is at an all time high. And yes im talking about even during the times of slavery. The Income gap in this country is higher now, than when we owned slaves.

I have nothing against rich people. Its awesome that they were able to come out on top. But being on top comes with responsibilities. If I was rich, I would expect to pay more than someone making 10% as me. I would feel like complete crap if I didnt. These people are struggling to pay their bills on time, while Im out here owning multiple homes, cars and being able to do basically whatever I want. This whole ordeal really brings out someones true character.

Good luck on your self-indulging, bigoted, morally corrupt point of view.

Maybe next time youll actually bring up some talking points and maybe debate what I said. Unfortunately, for the GOP/conservative party, most of you cannot come up with a coherent response to a post like mine. All you people do is resort to name calling.

But I understand, when religion is your main issue, intelligence is usually the last thing youre worried about.

Here is my problem with your opinion:

I don't believe rich or poor people should be supporting this corrupt government at all! We need to starve this government into dis-mantling itself. Take away their money (our money) and let the govnment collapse.

Then we could establish a new government based on the U.S. Constitution. A more perfect government. One that is of the people and for the people. A government that serves the people.

I am tired of serving this government. I am tired of fearing this government. And I am tired of the extortion.

  11. Ron Paul says, let the people take care of the people. Charities are for taking care of the poor. Not for propping up Big Pharma's Cancer research.

Give to the Church. And the Church should STOP building large expensive monuments, and start taking care of the poor?

Taking care of people is not the job of government. Neither is stealing our money via road-side laser gang tag! Stop stealing our money for non-criminal violations of your illegal statutory laws!

Government - get out of our lives!

  12. 7:28, I agree.

However, realistically... we both know that will never happen.

We have to try and change it, however hard that may be. And that first starts with educating people.

Dont get my words twisted, because if there was a better option, I would vote for it. But Romney has a proven track record of lying, he has no intentions of bettering lives of the middle class, and did I mention that he lies?

He claims that he has never received an inheritance. Which, I guess, is technically true, but he didnt receive an inheritance... AFTER his father passed. What he did receive however was an enormous opportunity. He was put in the driver seat to succeed. He was also gifted an enormous wealth in stock options, while his father was still alive. Thats why he donated "his estate to charity." Because he had no use of it any longer, he had expelled all of its uses. That and he had the means to rebuild anything he gave away... because of his Father.

So for him to say that he HAS worked for an honest living wage and that he KNOWS what its like to struggle is extremely deceitful.

The only real candidate out there who actually has a real plan for this country is Gary Johnson. Hes running for the independent party and after this election is over, we will see that there is a NEED for a true 3rd party with true opportunities.

Unfortunately, I am divided as to whether or not I want to vote for him or Obama. On one hand, I want nothing to do with Mitt Romney becoming president and with the clear-cut choices for this election being Obama or Romney - I want to vote for Obama.

On the other hand, I like Gary Johnsons view on things and would like to help make a statement with this election - that a 2 party system has failed this country and something needs to be done about it.

  13. Of course to keep the lie going they never play the entire thing.

That's why it doesn't matter. Go get the transcripts and find out what he actually said.

    Yes it is that simple.
