TORRANCE, CA, – Manuel Castro may have accused Chick-fil-A of peddling hate, but
police say they have determined that he wasn’t motivated by hate when he
vandalized a Chick-fil-A restaurant earlier this month.
Castro, a gay activist, had scrawled the words “Tastes Like Hate,”
along with a cow holding a paintbrush, on the side of a Chick-fil-A
restaurant in Torrance, California, on “National Same-Sex Kiss Day” – an
event organized to protest company CEO Dan Cathy’s stance in support of
traditional marriage.
“National Same-Sex Kiss Day” followed on the heels of Chick-fil-A
“Appreciation Day,” on which hundreds of thousands of traditional
marriage supporters had lined up, sometimes for several hours, to dine
at Chick-fil-A as a show of their support for Cathy.

How come everyone else is hateful, racist, homophobes, etc., but gays (and immigrants) are always the victims?
ReplyDeleteThey never show hate or racism or any other negative feelings.
It's always the Americans that are in the wrong, usually white Americans at that.
Americans have bent over backwards to make gays (and immigrants) feel welcome, accepted, etc.
But I think that is coming to an end. Americans are tired of getting the short end of the stick.
We are damned if we do and damned if we don't. Plus it's helping to bankrupt this country in the process.
If gays, immigrants, or anyone else doesn't like it here, PLEASE, go live somewhere else.
Stop trying to make a whole country change to fit your needs, views and whatever else you DEMAND.
Go somewhere where it is already like what you want. Everybody wins.
One last thing, if you don't like chick-fil-a, don't eat there.
Maybe you guys need to do a little changing yourselves. Yes?
"but police say they have determined that he wasn’t motivated by hate when he vandalized a Chick-fil-A restaurant earlier this month."
ReplyDeleteThis is completely asinine.
Backwards, reversed. unbalanced.
Reeks of Obama!
We were not there that Wednesday to "protest" anything, nor to "hate" anyone.
ReplyDeleteWe were there to celebrate and show support for someone.
Some people just don't understand the concept.
Another example of why the average American needs to take the law into his own hands.
ReplyDeletegays are just wired wrong.
