America 'Was Warned Of Embassy Attack But Did Nothing'

The killings of the US ambassador to Libya and three of his staff were likely to have been the result of a serious and continuing security breach, The Independent can reveal.

American officials believe the attack was planned, but Chris Stevens had been back in the country only a short while and the details of his visit to Benghazi, where he and his staff died, were meant to be confidential.

The US administration is now facing a crisis in Libya. Sensitive documents have gone missing from the consulate in Benghazi and the supposedly secret location of the "safe house" in the city, where the staff had retreated, came under sustained mortar attack. Other such refuges across the country are no longer deemed "safe".

  1. The way they are trying to BS us is unbelievable. I do believe there were warnings that were ignored but they are now tossing around al qaeda as the culprits. No way. It's coming from the government that Obama helped to put in power.
And then the other nutjob Clinton on TV lying about how the Libyans were helping the US and how it was Libyans who took the ambassasdor to the hospital. I call that BS also. No one took him to the hospital but they did sodomize him and drag him down the street.

  2. This is interesting. So the Libyans hired to provide security to the inner perimeter of the compound scattered when the gunman appeared.
Sounds to me like someone has broken rank and is leaking info to the Independant. It would not surprise me. When you are a member of a diplomatic corp of a Middle Eastern country your colleagues become your friends. Over there is not like a European post where it is safe to come and go. In the Middle East the corps not only work together but live together in secure compounds. They are bussed to work together each and every day and the relationships do become more personal than if you just work with someone. I can imagine that quite a few that survived this are quite upset and will want the world to know the true story and not just the propaganda the government puts out.

  3. They've breeched the German embassy in Sudan now and fire is seen from other embassies in other countries. Obama is going to go down as the president who started WW3.

  6. Those Libyan Rebels are al-queda. We have given them logistical help directly, and that involved indirect military aid.

So did they turn on us (unlikely since we further their aims and that "film" seems like a big joke), or are certain parties using them as a fake attack on us right before the election?

  7. Best way to solve these issues is to get our people out and turn the entire place into a glass factory. Heat all the sand up with say a Nuclear device until it turns to glass. Their is no reasoning with terrorist and terrorist nations. All they know is to fight.

  9. I don't think it al queda 12:44. I bet it came from the inside and is the new govenment that was propped up by Obama. Of course the admin will blame al queda to get themselves off the hook.

Here we go again with the missing the signs people.Everything is chrystal clear in hindsight.Every major catastrophe has a cult following of people who claim it could have easily been prevented.Let's just remove the words fate and destiny from the dictionary, since every act, violent or otherwise,is totally preventable.
