Earlier this morning we received a message saying a body may have been found in the river, NOT TRUE.
The Delaware State Police are working on a murder case whereas they have been informed someone threw a gun into the river near Brew River.
The Dive Team is out searching the area to see if they can locate the weapon. Mind you, the divers, (so you know) cannot see more than 1 feet in front of them. They call this kind of diving black water diving.
QUICK MEN TO THE FIRE BOAT!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletehmm could it be the sewage being pumped into that waterway be the cause? nah because the good ole boys said so...
ReplyDeleteSay what you will about the fire boat. It will be needed one day and everyone will say I'm glad we had that boat.
ReplyDeleteOne day will probably never come. When one day comes, if it does, the fire boat will be too old to pull its self off of the dock..:(
ReplyDelete11:43 Haven't needed one for the last 40 years, What Changed?
ReplyDeleteAs close as the fire station is to the river 20 fire trucks would be on the scene before the boat is prepared to leave the dock.
ReplyDelete12:18 I bet you have lots of things right now in your house that you didnt need for 40 years. But I bet you have them now.
ReplyDeleteSalisbury needs to buy a mine sweeped from the navy. buy an older one there cheaper. then these people can stay out of our cess pool.
ReplyDeletethe fire boat is for 1 purpose - OC Fireman show in May/June whenever it is. simple as that. government is inept.
ReplyDeleteI'd call it "brown water diving" and make damn sure there wasn't a centimeter of exposed skin. Welcome to Salisbury.
