Troopers were able to locate the suspect vehicle described as a Blue Honda Accord displaying Maryland registration 08021CD. They observed the continued reckless driving habits and were able to conduct a traffic stop. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Matthew Stephen King, White,M, DOB of 09/23/1981. During the investigation it was learned that King is listed as a Firearms Collector however, the firearms were not registered. Troopers from the Firearms Enforcement Unit was contacted to assist with the processing of the firearms and they responded to the Salisbury Barrack. They were able to examine/inspect the firearms. During this examination it was determined that two of the firearms had been modified which would require them to be registered/regulated. The Ruger Model 10-22, semi-automatic rifle had been modified from it original form by having the stock replaced with a collapsible/folding stock. ( ATF trace to determine original date of purchase). Upon examining the Bushmaster XM-15, STR Ken Moore observed a slight modification in the safety selector. 2. Were those guns in his car or his house? If they were in his house they have no right taking them.

  3. Guess where those weapons will end up? In the closets of cops. they LOVE confiscating guns. Espescially those with "slight" modifications, like a ---lol--- FOLDING STOCK! OMG!!! Not a folding stock!! Think I'm joking? Check on the status of those listed weapons in a year....
