Lisa Norcliffe and then-fiance Jimmy Haigh, both 30, had booked a summer 2012 wedding before Lisa's father Ian was given the news that his blood cancer was incurable in May last year.
Mr Norcliffe, described by his daughter as a private man, told only close family members of his diagnosis.
That was one of the nicest, most inspirational things I've read. That dad not only had a great daughter, but the son-in-law deserves a lot of credit, too.
ReplyDeleteI hope the couple will always remember through good times and bad what they were willing to do for a dying man and for each other.
