  1. I had someone use my paypal account ones and someone used my husbands check card. The card never left his wallet and we never left the house that day.

  2. Yes.A mirror identity image of myself and each of my immediate family members.Even the town name Salisbury was used to promote the illusion, but it was a Salisbury in another state.A mirror image ID theft takes longer to detect and longer to fix.It took me about a month to get it straightened out.The amount of $$ lost was not life altering.

  3. had my ebay account stolen not long ago. someone hacked in and charged over $2000.00 on my account. which i never understood as it had a $1500.00 credit limit.
nonetheless, it took 6 months too get straight. i ended up paying nothing, except all the time and effort getting it cleared up.
and would never use ebay or have an account on there again.

After my paypal account was used they sent me a card the size of a credit card. Now when I log into paypal to pay for something I have to push a button on this little card and it gives me a new number each time. If I don't use that number I can't pay for anything. I wish they would do this with all accounts when people join paypal.
