Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), a senior member of the Senate Armed
Services Committee, demanded that Defense Secretary Leon Panetta
explain why the Pentagon allowed uniformed service members to
participate in this past weekend’s "gay pride" parade in San Diego.
The Pentagon said last week that it would allow approximately 300
military personnel wearing uniforms to march in the San Diego parade,
but that it was not making a blanket exception for the future.
In a letter
to Panetta sent Tuesday, however, Inhofe said the move was a clear
violation of the long-time ban on military personnel marching in a
political parade in uniform.

Now, by this move, we may see that by the military shoving their gay agenda into San Diego's hot 'n juicy that the absence of "Don't ask, don't tell", it's more like "all we want is you gay guys and gals". It's sick, just as the rest of Society is today. I will opt for Conservative and religious Chreistian beliefs and a 9MM. Thanks for all that, though.

C'mon November! Panetta needs to go too.
ReplyDeletethere is NO excuse for this. i hope inhofe blasts panetta. don't trust panetta any farther than you can throw him.
ReplyDeleteCommanders and other officers would have their careers ruined if they were found to have autorized soldiers marching in a "Christian Action Parade". The soldiers themselves would have all been Article 15'd and lost pay and rank. Sun Tzu's Art Of War says military, in order to be effective, MUST have strict rules and strict punishment for cohesivness and effectiveness. I've that book several times (there's a copy in my car) and I missed the part about "political correctness" and the chapter on "don't be mean to anyone" the part about "rules for soldiers who don't think the military can tell them what to do". Maybe we can send those troops over to Afghanistan to help keep our tail between our legs as we RUN away from another failed military/industrial incursion. The troops without legs can watch it on TV.
ReplyDeleteWe have other more pressing issues to deal with.
ReplyDeleteyeah, right...put military discipline way down the rung....thats why the whole world calls on the DANISH military to keep peace, rescue diaster victims, and generally keep order. I can see your point....
