Pat's Pizza

Last night I decided to head over to Pat's Pizza on Rt. 13 in Salisbury. We walked in the door and I have to admit, I never expected to see as nice a restaurant as we were seeing, I was very impressed. It was very clean but at 7 PM there were only 2 customers in the business and quite a few employees.

We thought we'd keep it simple being a first time customer, so we ordered a Pizza because we knew that would be safe. The Pizza was good. Not great but good.

When we walked out I said, well, what did you think. Their reply was, "I can get better pizza at Sam's Club but it was OK".

I'd definitely go to Pat's again and the next time I'd try a meal. However, I didn't bring any reading glasses with me last night and there was NO WAY I could read their menu. They lost any dinner meal business from me instantly when I opened that menu. At that point I knew it was going to be Pizza. Their Menu should read, WE PROVIDE READING GLASSES" to those people who can't see that small print.

  1. A little off topic, but a great place to eat is DeVage's across from Country House on Main St. For those of us who have been here forever, it is the old Polar Bar. they have the best fresh made doughnuts you have ever eaten and their lunch menu is all fresh made to order. the cheese steak and fries are my favorite. Friendly, clean, locally owned. What's not to love.

  9. I live on that side of town and we go to Pat's for pizza often. Not as good as NY Pizzeria pizza but definitely one of my favorites. Good atmosphere as well. They have always treated me great.

  11. I've only ordered there 2 times and do not plan to again. The pizza was tasteless. The ham and cheese sub had hardly any meat. Red Door subs and Ponzetti's pizza is the best.

  12. Joe,

IF at all you ever go back to pats... I would Highly recommend one of their sandwiches in the category called "rustic sandwiches"... There are a few different ones that are good, but i always fall back to the one called Ranchers Chicken... it is grilled chicken breast on a ciabatta roll with ranch dressing and peepers and cheese... Also comes with waffle fries...

As you stated before, for pizza, delmar pizza has the best around... but I agree for the price and quality for the price, sams pizza is good...

  13. I've had a salad there that was just some iceberg lettuce and a few bits of veggies as garnish. A great disappointment. And the pizza, ordered as a takeout, was like it came out of a frozen food box.
    I'll not be back.

  14. To those of you who's comments I've rejected, I never said I didn't like Pat's. In fact, I said I'd go back and try something different.

For what it's worth, if you ever want to try the greatest chicken parm you've ever had in your life, go to Fox & Olive. Ask for the meat sauce on your spaghetti. It is to die for and while I'd like to believe I personally make the best chicken parm, theirs actually blows mine away.

  15. Red Door has ok food. But their service is awful! Maybe they have changed and I need to give them another chance? It's been a long time since i have been in there b/c i was treated so rudely on my last visit.
My favorite place to eat here is The Grove.

  16. I ate at The Fox and Olive several weeks ago and won't be back. The food was a little above average but the kicker was the owner walking around the dining room talking to people and dropping the F bomb quite often. Not very lady like, heck, not even owner like.

  18. They are usually busy when college students are here. They make a great cheese steak sub and chicken cheese steak. I like their food, they are not my favorite, but I do like them.
