Knife Found Inside Comb at BWI Checkpoint

A woman was cited by police at BWI Thurgood Marshall International Airport on Tuesday after Transportation Security Administration officials said she had a knife hidden inside a comb.

TSA Spokesman Kawika Riley said the comb was tucked inside a three-ring binder. It was discovered as the woman was passing through an airport checkpoint at about 7:30 a.m. Monday.

Riley said the woman was escorting her daughter to a gate to catch a flight to Atlanta.
