Over the weekend, Michelle Obama “wowed” at Buckingham Palace “in a captivating, all-white embroidered jacket that retails for $6,800,” in the words of the New York Daily News.
Explaining that the first lady opted for a J. Mendel “capsleeve jacket” from the 2013 resort collection, the Daily News continued:

That shirt costs more than I have brought home this year.
