DOVER - An American crow submitted to the Delaware Public Health Laboratory by Tri-State Bird Rescue in Newark on July 8 has tested positive for West Nile virus (WNV), as reported by the Lab on July 13. The bird was collected in the Newark area. WNV is a mosquito-borne disease that affects humans and horses.

I know a police officer in Salisbury that has it. It almost killed him. This is bad stuff and it is here. Hope they spray or something. I mean this stuff almost killed a grown man.
ReplyDeleteGod forbid they should spray to kill mosquitoes. It might kill a bird. Well, frankly, I'm sick of the nuisance crows...I'd like to know how to get rid of them. I'd like to see officials spray for mosquitoes. We can't live or work outside in the evenings because of them!
