Editor’s Note: The following story includes a content warning for video that contain brief nudity.
The “World Naked Bike Ride in St. Louis” Facebook page
encourages bikers to “protest oil dependency,“ ”raise awareness of
cyclist rights,“ and advocate a ”positive body image” by taking to the
streets of St. Louis on their bicycles.
An estimated 500 people turned up, according to KDSK, and the movement reportedly has fans in 70 cities and 20 different countries.
But even if riding a bicycle naked in the dark could actually accomplish
any of those things, at what point does a sane person decide not to
bring their children to the event?

You get hung on the political correctness tree for not being a gay supporter or whatever, yet you can ride a bicycle naked.
ReplyDeleteIf front of kids even AND letting the kids participate.
No, there's nothing wrong with the morals of this country.
UGG, as an avid cyclist this is the last thing we need. From a sport that already has plenty of people hating you, this is ridiculous. These idiots are doing more harm than good raising cyclist's rights.
ReplyDeleteAs long as the left is tolerated this kind of thing will never end.
ReplyDeleteCan you say Chaffee?
ReplyDeleteWho cares???If anything I think it helps the sport. I have more of a problem with a cyclist riding on the road when there is a sidewalk totally empty. Which happens on Camden Avenue all the time. At least if they were naked I would have something to talk about with my friends.
ReplyDeleteNudist have all of their kids at their camps, the 14 year old boys are always in an state of excitment, and looking at their naked 16 year old sister doesn't give them any ideas...... And then there is dad whom gets an eyefull of his daughter, then we wonder why there are so many sex offenders out there.

Who cares? Obviously not you. And bicycles are required to ride on the street as they are considered vehicles by state law.
